On December 12, Sodimac Sao Bernardo do Campo was inaugurated in the state of Sao Paulo. The fifth Sodimac store in Brazil has a sales area of 8,900 m2. and integrates the Homecenter and Constructor formats. With this opening, Sodimac now has 251 home improvement stores in the region.

Madecentro, Colombia's largest retailer of boards and supplies for the furniture industry, has reached 105 stores nationwide. Last August, the specialized retailer announced the opening of its new store, the 105th, located in the city of Ibague, department of Tolima.
