BRAZIL - Impress Decor, a reference in the development and production of decorative surfaces for the wooden panel, furniture and flooring industries, announced its new general manager.
Marciel Nogaroto is the name chosen by the multinational to lead the Brazilian unit, located in Araucária, Paraná, in place of João Leon Martinez, who retires after 23 years of contribution to the brand.
A solid and highly respected figure in the segment, João Leon Martinez has been with Impress Decor since its implementation in Brazil, in 1999. "It was a great challenge in my career to participate in the implementation of the factory, train employees, and work the full potential of the company. In the last 12 years, with the growth of the market, we have been able to serve new players with excellence and, for me, this is fantastic," he adds.
The new president is getting ready to take over the management of the Brazilian unit as of January 2023. João comments that "Marciel arrived at Impress Decor 6 years ago to be prepared to assume my responsibilities. We have always worked together and he will continue to maintain a serious and cohesive work as we have been doing, looking ahead to the next 10 years of the company".
Marciel Nogaroto has 25 years of experience in German companies before taking up his position at Impress Decor Brasil. "Impress gave me the opportunity to work in a more comprehensive way, being responsible for a number of departments, where I could absorb the whole business and understand all the sectors," he comments. "João always gave me openness and, when I brought a different vision, I was always heard, respected, and together we started the first changes. We have always been extremely partnerly and open to discuss the countless challenges that arose during this period.
