GERMANY - Surteco, a global leader in the decorative surfaces market, will not be exhibiting at the interzum in Cologne in 2023.

The interzum has been an integral part of Surteco's marketing and sales activities for many years. In 2023, the company decided against participating due to the current, complex global economic situation and the continuing difficult framework conditions, especially in the European market, in order to focus more on regional trade fairs and individual customer events in 2023. In doing so, the company wants to focus on customer needs.

"We really appreciate interzum as the leading trade fair for exchange within the industry, which is why the decision to cancel our participation for 2023 was not easy for us. However, this year we will focus on targeted marketing activities. We want to pick up our customers with special regional and digital activities and in this context we look forward to good discussions and continued successful international cooperation," says Wolfgang Moyses, CEO Surteco Group SE.

According to the company, the decision should by no means be a fundamental rejection of the interzum in Cologne or any trade fair activities of the Surteco Group, but rather a reaction to the currently difficult economic conditions. Surteco stands for creative design and technologically sophisticated surfaces that shape the rooms of the future and is planning to take part in interzum again in the future.
