Walmart will invest USD 43.6 million in Honduras

Honduras (Perú Retail).-Walmart has announced an investment of 43.6 billion dollars in Honduras. After meeting with the president of Honduras, Porfirio Lobo, the CEO of

Walmart, Alberto Ebrard made the official announcement. He said that this is the biggest investment of the company in 2011 in Central America. Walmart contemplates the construction of 13 new outlets in the country, which will generate 338 direct jobs and over 5,000 indirect jobs in the construction industry and supply companies.
