COLOMBIA - Madecentro, the leading chain of stores specializing in supplies for the furniture, construction and remodeling industries, recently opened a new store in the Multiplaza shopping mall in Bogota.

With this this store opening it completes 200 stores in the country. Madecentro's goal for 2022 is to reach 215 stores.

The new store operates under the Design Store format that Madecentro has been implementing in shopping malls in the main cities of the country and that offers great advantages to the final consumer by serving as a showroom that allows it to appreciate the attributes of the different components of furniture and cabinets such as finishes, textures and hardware.

With more than 3,000 employees, Madecentro closed 2021 with sales of COP 781.4 billion and a 50% increase in sales compared to 2020. The company projects double-digit growth in 2022. To this end, it also maintains its strategy of exporting hardware and components for the furniture industry in Latin America, which Madecentro expects to reach around USD 6 million in 2022.
