CHILE - With more than 15,000 square meters of sales area and 6,800 products on display, Ikea opened its second store in Chile. Located in the Cerrillos district of Santiago.
Thus, Ikea inaugurated the first store in South America that has all the components and design of a typical Ikea store: a huge blue structure with the logo and flags of the brand, visible from the outside.
The strategic location of Ikea in Mallplaza Oeste will allow the residents of Cerrillos and surrounding communities to have access to more than 6,800 designer products at a good price.
In addition, thanks to its size and more than 6,000 square meters of storage space, customers will be able to pick up most of their purchases immediately.
According to company figures, with the opening of this branch, 90% of Santiago residents now have an Ikea 30 minutes or less from their homes.
