COLOMBIA - The new store, which will be the largest in South America with a total area of 26,000 square meters, will bring together all the characteristic spaces of Ikea stores worldwide.

Ikea is coming to the country with the aim of contributing to building a better everyday life for people, offering affordable products known for their design, functionality, quality, and sustainability.

Ikea, the furniture and home decor company, has been preparing for its arrival in Colombia for months, and now the wait is over. On September 28th at noon, Colombians will have the opportunity to visit the first Ikea store in the country, located in the Mallplaza NQS shopping center on Carrera 30 with Calle 19. This location is designed to be easily accessible to residents of Bogotá, as it is close to major roads, Transmilenio stations, and bus stops connecting different parts of the city.

The store will have over 26,000 square meters of space where customers can experience the full Ikea offering: explore furniture showrooms for inspiration, try out and feel the assortment of over 6,000 products available in the country, enjoy Swedish cuisine in the store's restaurant with a capacity for 600 people, and shop while children have fun in the supervised play area.

With the launch of Ikea Mallplaza NQS, the e-commerce portal will begin operating on September 29th, featuring the same number of products as the physical store and promising an equally inspiring experience. Initially, the portal will cater to deliveries within the city of Bogotá and gradually expand to other cities.
