PERU - The home improvement chain Sodimac Homecenter, part of the Falabella Group, inaugurated its first store in Iquitos in the new Mall Aventura shopping center.
The new store covers an area of 9,891 square meters, making it one of the largest in the chain in the country.
"At Sodimac, we are very pleased to arrive in the city of Iquitos. We are here to inspire the families of Iquitos to make their home projects a reality and also to support entrepreneurship among construction specialists," commented Piero Campos, Commercial and Marketing Manager of the company.
This is the second store that Sodimac has opened this year, with the first being the conversion of a Maestro store to Sodimac in July, located in the Ventanilla district (Lima-Callao).
With the new store in Iquitos, Sodimac now operates 31 stores nationwide (15 in Lima and 16 in provinces).
While Maestro maintains 13 in Lima and 12 in provinces. Together, they total 56 stores nationwide.
