GERMANY - On January 23rd, Nobilia, Europe's largest kitchen furniture manufacturer, formally acquired shares in Ecocuisine, a French kitchen distribution network founded in 2003 by Olivier and Christian François.
Pending formalities, Nobilia will become an Ecocuisine shareholder, solidifying their 20-year collaboration with the François family.
Ecocuisine, known for its affordable 'all-inclusive' kitchen concept, has seen continuous growth since its 2005 inception. With 110 stores nationwide, it expanded through a brand licensing model in 2013. In addition to Ecocuisine, the SEIP S.a.rl company includes brands Möbel Cuisine and Novocuisine. Nobilia, a leader in integrated kitchens for over 78 years, aims to strengthen its strategic position in France and international markets through this partnership.
Olivier François will remain a managing partner, and the partnership seeks to facilitate international market access for Ecocuisine. Nobilia sees Ecocuisine's modern concept as a valuable complement to its existing distribution networks. Dr. Lars M. Bopf, Nobilia's CEO, emphasizes shared values and customer satisfaction in their longstanding relationship.
